Entry in the client games market

InnoGames has expanded their portfolio with a major deal. We acquired the license to publish the Arcadia Saga in Europe and North America. The client game set in the medieval times is developed by Rosso Index, Japanese developer of MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game).
First screenshots of the new Facebook game released
InnoGames, with 50 million users one of the worldwide leading developers and publishers of browsergames, is going to release its first Facebook game in the next week. WestWars is the name of the game and it is set in the Wild West. On its fanpage, there are already screenshots and a blog about the new game.

18/06/10 New market - new challenge

Until now, Innogames focussed on browser based online games - this will change. We will publish our first social game in the near future. And we are very excited about conquering this market...
Fidelity Growth Partners Europe (FGPE) a pan-European venture and growth equity investor and InnoGames. FGPE has taken a minority stake in the company and will provide advice and access to its extensive partnership network to help InnoGames expand globally. InnoGames currently has almost 50 million registered players across the globe playing successful titles such as Tribal Wars, The West, and Grepolis.

InnoGames has joined the fair company group. This association of 1.400 German firms stands for a fair treatment of graduates. Amongst other things, this contains an appropriate salary for interns and a commitment not to replace regular jobs with internships.

06/04/10 Korean subsidiary company founded

As the first German publisher of browser based online games, InnoGames has founded a subsidiary company in Korea. With “InnoGames Korea ltd”, we want to strengthen our position in Asia. “Asia is a very attractive market for us and we needed closer and frequent communication with Asian companies. Especially in Korea, there is a very active online game industry and many game developers are located. With our own office there, we see good chances to grow even faster than before”, InnoGames CEO Michael Zillmer explains.
InnoGames trains young talents from the begin on. Now, the first one - Thorben Rackow - has finished his traineeship in a great manner.

On January, the 14th, we have started the English version of our new strategy game Grepolis. This is just the signal for the internationalization. Because of its very succesful start in Germany, we plan to publish Grepolis in a lot of different languages very soon.

Grepolis has been nominated for the "Deutscher Entwicklerpreis 2009". The award is one of the biggest for the game scene in Germany. You can vote for Grepolis after having registered on the homepage of the award.

Due to the constant growth, InnoGames has moved to a new and bigger headquarters. From the periphery of Harburg, we went to the centre next to the harbour.
